Carter Goes North

Waw. That's pretty unexpected news, at least for me. Dan Carter, the Golden Boot of the Southern Hemisphere, goes to Perpignan, joining another living legend of contemporary rugby, the Springbok Percy Montgomery. The All Blacks authorities, in a sign of unprecedented clemency, let him go on a half-year sabbatical, without automatically withholding his rights to play in the All Blacks jersey.

Dan Carter will follow other illustrious All Blacks players who recently chose money over fame and glory: Carl Hayman, Jerry Collins, Luke McAlister and Chris Jack (what? Jerry Collins in Europe? Since when? I'll have to double check this).

More on BBC and on the official Perpignan Rugby Club site.

Run, Carter, run!

In caz ca ai nevoie de o invitatie pe Diwana, just let me know.

Txs for passing by, mai numarul 10 mai.
